oh my where has the time gone!

Hey you few followers...
As in the real world...there have been things that have gotten in the way of this blog project. LIFE! My kids are taking over the world of mommywood. Carlee is getting to be a little more social and learning what she can and cannot do. Throwing food all over the table throwing her sippies too! Whew and thats not it she screams full blown scream. Who knew my bliss would be getting such a sassiness. Needless to say theres the oldest Addy would recently woke up from a nap with her pants down saying that she just had a baby! There are many times a day that I have to scratch my head and think what have I gotten myself into? As these dreadful winter months are hopefully coming to an end soon I am being overwhelmed with HD TV and all the crap that is on. I mean I never wanted to watch this much t.v when I had kids but its turning into a life saver...I can't believe I am admitting and realizing that all in one. But its true and the truth is hard sometimes. I find so much to do and get prepared for the spring upon us. We are building a deck, starting the first Priest compost and garden. My kids are great and hard and trying and a true blessing but wow the time is flying by and before you know they will be off and married with kids themselves. I hope I can just sit back and relax and enjoy the craziness before its all over.

snowy days

After heating up the rice socks and getting the babe in the Jeep stroller half sreaming half squirming out of the stroller we attempted the ride in the snow....my husbands idea! Which the idea was great, so we thought. We seemed to be the crazed fitness family! We made it about 100 yards down the side walk and decided to turn around! my face was frozen and the rest of me was starting to sweat. All this snow was so beautiful I must say. The girls are so sweet all bundled up and I think its hilarious how excited Addy was wiping off all the snow from the picnic table....explaining to her not to eat yellow snow....b.c its pennys pee! Oh and brown snow....for some reason Addy was eating the snow, so we felt there needed to be a disclaimer! Mommywood today has taught me another lesson, invest in snow clothes...layers dont really work to well. And the wet mess is more cold than not having the layers on in the first place.
Whew!

We have a third babe in our home yay! Today has seriously been amazing all my kids have been in good behavior and to throw more into my load is our friends son. He is just 4 months and a dream! He has been so easy to love and take care of, I am a fan of first impressions and this was a great way to start our time together! Addy and Carlee both have been little mommies to him and helping me out with diapers and bottles. Gods grace is so amazing and I am thrilled about this experience! Who knows maybe I will want another......

I have bent over backward today is search of organizing the downstairs of my house while taking care of a relentless lactating 3 year old who is so embarrassed if she gets caught nursing her baby in front of me. I keep telling her nurse everywhere who cares! Yes she is pretending all you crazies thinking "a 3 yr. old lactating?" But seriously she is destined to me a lactation consultant. She even PumPs! Anyway my organizing went according to plan I would be interrupted by 99 million different thoughts and ideas that would flow through my mind and hear all these critisisms. It was so much but it was so fun getting so much accomplished I guess I felt like a businesswoman giving a lecture on something super important and having a power point. I have always wanted to use a power point! So this day just couldn't have been any crazier when I burnt the microwave yes I must have set the wrong setting when making popcorn and yuck the whole house wreeks. How nice everything is clean and organized and then BOOm smoke everywhere what a buzz kill! The girls got to bed a later than normal so I hoping for a night that keeps me deep in a sleep til 9am. I guess my nannny forgot where I lived and my house cleaner too. I will have to resend them my address, oh who am I kidding, this is the real mommmywood!

the real mommywood

After watching several episodes of tori and dean inn love and now reading some of tori 's book "mommywood"...i realize that so many women are in the same fantasy as I (at least Tori is if no one else..haha.) She is funny and though I do not live in L.A I am suburban house wife, I have two kids and yes this blog is about my life....the hilarious times that I find myself getting through a temper tantrum my three old throws or the sweet face of my one year old that is not yet getting into too much trouble. This is the real mommywood....
